Reports still on the way
We can still expect reports from the National Ag Statistics Service to be released in the coming days, despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
This includes Thursday’s Hogs and Pigs report and the upcoming Prospective Plantings report due out Tuesday (Mar. 31). NASS continues to collect information for upcoming reports, encouraging farmers to complete surveys online. In-person data collection has been suspended until at least April 3 to protect the health and safety of everyone involved in the process.
The online responses are faster and more convenient for producers, according to USDA. In order to respond online, producers need their unique 17-digit survey code and must visit agcounts.usda.gov.
