Access to mental health services expanded
The state is expanding access to mental health services for farmers and ag communities.
During the Farm Progress Show this week, Gov. Pritzker announced funding for the Farm Family Resource Initiative which was originally created as a pilot program covering six Illinois counties providing telehealth mental health access in addition to a help line.
This will now be expanded to cover all of the counties in Illinois. Family members can access six free telehealth mental health sessions now, in addition to the telehealth helpline.
