Brandt moves into new building

New buildings recently constructed at the Brandt site in Fairbury.

Progress is being made at the Brandt location along Route 24 in Fairbury.

They are moving into the new office space this week, which is located inside the building closest to the highway. A new shop was built as well, providing a space to work on equipment.

“I know everyone is excited to work in a new area,” said Brandt Fairbury location manager Brad Schmidgall.

Schmidgall says the ag retailer is ready for planting season. Though there hasn’t been much action out in the field just yet, things will change once the weather turns.

“I’m sure before we know it, tractors will be rolling.”

At this point, most of the spring fertilizer is on. Next up will be applying nitrogen ahead of the corn crop and controlling weeds early in the season.

“Stop by and see us,” Schmidgall said of the new Brandt facilities. “We’d love to talk to you.”
