Damage reports around state after storm

Damage was reported around the state after strong winds, storms and even some tornadoes were reported Friday night into early Saturday.
A presumed tornado knocked down power lines near Flatville, headed north and struck a wedding venue before flipping over horse trailers at the Gordyville facility and damaging a house near Gifford.
The Gordyville USA Facebook page indicated that the location was hit by a severe storm around 12:52 a.m. with no people or animals injured though several trailers and campers were overturned. They thanked Gifford firefighters and police for assistance.
Damage in the southern part of the state was reported at Neoga Elementary School and in Paris, Illinois.
The late week storm system was so powerful it blew dust through the Midwest from the southwestern United States. Many states experienced tornadoes and wind damage. That threat was expected to continue throughout Saturday.
