GCMS prepares for auction

GIBSON CITY – The 20th annual Gibson City Melvin Sibley FFA Scholarship auction is this Saturday (Feb. 24).

A free will donation lunch is served from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. with a silent auction 12 to 1 p.m. and the live auction beginning at 1 p.m.

The purpose of the event is to raise funds for the chapter and to provide scholarships for members. Scholarships will be used by students for college expenses, fees for leadership conferences and camps as well as state and national conventions.
