Corn planted reached 73 percent, compared to the 5-year average of 46 percent. Corn emerged reached 17 percent, compared to the 5-year average of 14 percent. Soybeans planted reached 66 percent, compared to the 5-year average of 28 percent. Soybeans emerged reached 14 percent compared to the 5-year average of 6 percent.
