Stoller IH marks 90 years

Stoller International is celebrating a big milestone this year.
It is the 90th anniversary of the local Case IH dealership which sells and services numerous lines of farm equipment.
“We are thankful for this community,” Stoller’s McLane Steidinger said.
Clark and Lynn Stoller took over the dealership from their dad who started it all in 1935 taking horses on trade and selling tractors.
“That kind of started it off,” explained Steidinger.
The business began with Allis-Chalmers equipment then they bought an International dealership, hence the name Stoller International.
“After the war, Clarence built a store up in Pontiac, then Clark and Lynn grew it into five stores,” notes Steidinger.
Steidinger and Michael Dohman took over from Clark and Lynn a few years back.
“They still have our backs.”
The Stoller crew is excited about springtime which means it is time for farmers to get those tractors and planters out of the shed to inspect them. The service department is busy looking over planters.
“We’ve got service specials on about anything you have in the shed,” said Steidinger.
Contact the service managers at any Stoller location for a complete list of service specials on everything from Magnum tractors to lawn mowers.
Stoller International held a successful planter clinic for area farmers last week at the Precision Planting PTI Farm at Pontiac which was filled to capacity.
“We live right here in the community,” Steidinger added.
