Wheat yield estimates released

The 2022 Illinois Winter Wheat Yield Estimates have been released.

While no information was available for nearby Ford, McLean and DeWitt counties, Livingston County had a wheat yield of 86 bushels per acre. Iroquois and Champaign counties were 79.1 while Tazewell was 90.4 and Logan County had an average of 102.5 bushels per acre.

This year’s Illinois average for winter wheat was 79 bushels per acre.
